THE STAR & LAMP OF PI KAPPA PHI

The Star & Lamp is the award-winning national magazine of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. First published in October 1909, the magazine was originally called The Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity Journal. The name was changed to the Star & Lamp in 1911.

The Star & Lamp, as the official publication of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, endeavors to:

Serve as a forum of communication to educate, inspire, and move to action members on fraternity, Greek, and men’s issues.

Create, sustain, and rekindle member loyalty and interest in lifelong brotherhood through celebrating and validating the brotherhood, recognizing and acknowledging individual and chapter accomplishments and achievements, and promoting ownership of the initiatives of the second century vision.

Serve as a permanent record and archive, documenting the life of the fraternity.

Pi Kappa Phi is a member of the North-American Interfraternity Conference and the Fraternity Communications Association.
