RECENT CHARTERS GRANTED

Once an associate chapter meets the pre-set chartering standards, the chapter petitions to receive its charter. If the National Council believes the associate chapter has built a solid foundation that ensures the long-term success of the chapter, the petition is approved.

The associate chapter is then installed as an official chapter of Pi Kappa Phi and receives its chapter designation. The founding members of the chapter go through Pi Kappa Phi's Ritual of Intitation at this time.
